Application of GIS/RS in Assessment of Flash Flood Causes and Damages: A Case Study of Budhni Nullah, District Peshawar, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to assess the flood hazard causes and damages draw extent zones in Budhni Nullah District Peshawar on basis devastating historical data through usage Geographic Information System (GIS) Remote Sensing (RS).
 Methodology: In research, a descriptive methodology GIS techniques were carried out identify causes, damages, zones. Therefore, qualitative quantitative related hazards are clipped from various sources. Satellite images such as digital elevation models generated for acquiring watershed slope data. put ArcMap mapping SPSS ease statistical calculations find hazards. Moreover, other tools different applications used ERDAS Imagine Image processing GPS application location tracking.
